80s Films I Information

The 1980s were an exciting and busy time for the film industry. The industry as a whole was starting to get behind the idea of the corporate blockbusters. This was somewhat of a departure from films of the 1970s which focused on more specific director led ideas. The 1980s saw an increase in the sequel trend and although there is only one true trilogy many of the movies filmed in the 80s went on to have one ore more sequels.
